Tiger Optics Introduces World’s First
Laser-Based Trace Acetylene Analyzer

Warrington, PA (December 2005) – Tiger Optics is pleased to introduce the advent of an electro-optic acetylene module for its LaserTrace, multi-point, mulit-species, multi-gas analyzer. This is the first acetylene analyzer based on a powerful, proven technology known as Cavity Ring-Down Spectroscopy (CRDS), capable of measuring trace acetylene down to 1 part-per-billion (ppb), providing a fast, accurate, and easy-to-use means to detect acetylene contamination.

The C2H2 module measures a wide dynamic range of 1 ppb up to10 ppm, in milliseconds, with absolute accuracy. Its ability to detect acetylene derives from breakthrough, patented technology.

It is low-power, transportable, and requires very little maintenance. Designed by experienced instrument engineers, the LaserTrace combines high technology with plug-and-play operation, and freedom from calibration, along with built-in capacity to measure up to four sample gases.
