Tiger Optics Wins “Gassy” Award for Best Gas Analyzer Warrington, PA (July 2005) Tiger Optics is the proud winner of the Gases and Technology Magazine 2005 Product Innovation “GASSY” Award. The MTO-LP-H2O was chosen “Best Gas Analyzer”. The award was presented by Bill Burris, publisher and general manager and Paul Nesdore, Chief Editor of Gases and Technology at SEMICON West in San Francisco. The judging was conducted by a prestigious panel of seven gas technology experts representing science, academia and users in industry. Each submission was evaluated on its ability to meet a significant industry challenge; creative application of a new or existing technology; overall quality and consistency of performance; economic merits; and throughput characteristics. Each product was judged specifically on its innovation, cost effectiveness, speed/throughput improvements, quality, and ease of use, maintainability/repair ability, and environmental responsibility. Tiger Optics offers the first moisture analyzer for hydride gases based on a powerful, proven technology known as Cavity Ring-Down Spectroscopy (CRDS), providing a fast, accurate and easy-to-use means to detect contaminants. The MTO-LP-H2O trace moisture analyzer is designed to measure moisture in hydride gases, such as ammonia (NH3), phosphine (PH3) and arsine (AsH3). The MTO-LP-H2O detects H2O down to single-digit parts per billion (ppb) levels in milliseconds, with absolute accuracy. It is calibration-free, transportable, and requires very little maintenance. Designed by experienced instrument engineers, the MTO combines high technology with plug-and-play operation, very modest maintenance, and freedom from calibration, along with built-in capacity to measure up to four sample gases. ### Media contact: |
