Regional Sales Manager for Advanced Analytical Equipment, Gulf Coast

Tiger Optics is currently in search of an experienced, successful Regional Sales Manager responsible for Sales of advanced analytical equipment in the Gulf Coast Region. The ideal candidate for this position will be someone who 1.) is based in Houston, Texas or nearby 2.) can thrive in a fast-paced environment, and 3.) can easily navigate working within a remote Sales team in support of our US-based operations.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work in a fast-paced, innovative environment where you will be empowered to sell business solutions and related services to Industrial Gas Markets
  • Achieve revenue targets, profitability margins, and sales growth; with a concentrated focus on Industrial Gas Markets in Gulf Coast Region
  • Identify, Develop and Cultivate strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Identify business opportunities and work to close new deals to drive revenue growth
  • Maintain accurate up-to-date sales pipeline, forecasts and other customer management functions, through the use of SalesForce.com CRM solution
  • Use networking skills to learn about trends in the marketplace and look for productive ways to apply competitive intelligence
  • Participate and contribute to R&D in product design, enhancements, and development of its roadmap
  • Prospect, Present and/or Participate in relevant exhibitions and trade conferences on behalf of Tiger Optics

Job Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Technical Sales, with knowledge of analytical instrumentation and the Gas & Chemical industries
  • Experience with using SalesForce.com or other CRM application tools
  • Travel required: up to 50%
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to work independently and productively from home office
