French National Metrology Laboratory Validates Tiger’s CRDS Analyzer for Trace Ammonia Measurement
Ammonia (NH3), a colorless, sharp-smelling, and eye-watering gas in deadly air pollution, poses significant negative influences on environmental and public health as well as climate change. Despite its abundance, NH3 is difficult for atmospheric monitoring instruments due to its "sticky" nature and easy to combine with other compounds.
To meet the requirement of Air Quality Control agencies in France, and provide reference NH3 at low concentration to allow users to calibrate their instruments, Laboratoire National de Métrologie et d'Essais (LNE), the national metrology laboratory, recently ran rigorous tests with a Tiger Optics T-I Max NH3 analyzer. The unit went through extensive step intrusion testing. The analyzer demonstrated excellent speed of response and linearity as shown in the charts below.
Based on Tiger's new advanced platform, the Tiger Optics T-I Max series analyzers can help with the Airborne Molecular Contaminants (AMCs) in your Semiconductor cleanrooms, and deliver unprecedented performance, including:
- Parts-per-trillion (ppt) detection limits of the most critical molecules: HF, HCl, and NH3
- Lightning fast speed of response, providing very early detection of intrusion in seconds
- Sensitive, absolute measurement
- Drift-free, with NIST-traceable calibration
- Robust design with high, field-proven reliability
- Lowest Cost of Ownership
- Minimum maintenance
CRDS + APIMS: The Ultimate Solution for Semiconductor UHP Gas Analysis
Extrel is recognized as a leader in the industry for high quality, higher performance mass spectrometers and top-notch customer support.
